(1)There shall be established a University by the Trust by the name Shiv Nadar University, with its principal seat at Kalavakkam.(2)The University shall be a body corporate, shall have perpetual succession and a common seal and shall sue and be sued by the said name.(3)The University shall be of the unitary type.(4)The University may establish constituent colleges, regional centres, additional campuses and study centres at such places in the State as it deems fit subject to the norms of University Grants Commission and other national accreditation bodies.
