Section 17(2) in Manonmaniam Sundaranar University Act, 1990
(2)The Planning Board shall consist of the following members, namely:-(i)the Vice-Chancellor, who shall be the ex-officio Chairman of the Board; and(ii)not more than eight persons of high academic standing.
