27. Term of members of councils.
(1)The term of office of the members of the shop council, factory council and enterprise council shall be for a period of two years from the date of constitution of such council:Provided that the members of the council shall continue to hold the office till a new council is reconstituted.(2)A member of the council nominated to fill up a casual vacancy shall hold office for the remaining period of the term of office.(3)A member whose term of office is completed is eligible for renomination.
