29. The Director of Extension and Associate Director of Extension.
(1)There shall be a Director of Extension and an Associate Director of Extension who shall be whole-time salaried officer of the University responsible to the Vice-Chancellor. He shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor with the prior approval of the Board in accordance with the Statutes made in this respect.(2)He shall be responsible for the Agricultural Extension Programme as set forth in Section 34 of this Act.(3)The Director of Extension and the Associate Director of Extension shall exercise such powers and perform such duties as may be conferred or imposed on him by the Statutes.
