Section 1 in The U.P. Direct Recruitment through Public Service Commission Preliminary Examination Rules, 1986
1. Short title, commencement and applicability.
(1)These rules may be called the Uttar Pradesh Direct Recruitment through Public Service Commission Preliminary Examination Rules, 1986.(2)They shall come into force at once.(3)They shall apply to all the recruitment made directly by selection through Commission either on the basis of written examination or interview or both :Provided that in respect of the Uttar Pradesh Nyayik Sewa, the provisions of these rules shall apply on notification being issued to the effect by the Governor after consultation with the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad.
