Section 1(3) in The U.P. Direct Recruitment through Public Service Commission Preliminary Examination Rules, 1986
(3)They shall apply to all the recruitment made directly by selection through Commission either on the basis of written examination or interview or both :Provided that in respect of the Uttar Pradesh Nyayik Sewa, the provisions of these rules shall apply on notification being issued to the effect by the Governor after consultation with the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad.
