Section 7(1) in The M.P. Janpad Panchayat and Zila Panchayat Standing Committees (Election of Members, Powers and Functions and Term of Members and Procedure for the Conduct of Business) Rules, 1994
(1)The presiding authority shall announce, the name of the Standing Committee for which election is to be held and the number of members to be elected and invite nominations therefor in Form I.
