Section 88(1) in The Punjab Scheduled Castes Land Development & Finance Corporation (Staff) Regulations, 1971
(1)In an incremental scale, the increment shall accrue on the completion of each specified period of service on each stage of that scale, whether such service be probationary, officiating or substantive.Acting service in a higher grade will count for increments in an employee's substantive grade as well as in the higher grade in which he is acting and if there is an intermediate grade between the two in which he would have officiated had he not between appointed to officiate in the higher grade, also in the intermediate grade, but the period during which an employee is on leave, without pay will not count for increment unless so authorised by the Executive Director for reasons to be recorded in writing. Sanction to draw increments will be given by the Executive Director in the case of Officers and by the Secretary in the case of other employees.
