Section 23(1) in The Orissa Animal Contagious Diseases Rules, 1957
(1)Any animal which has reacted to the tuberculine test or has been shown to be affected with tuberculosis by any other method subject to confirmation by the Director, shall be deemed to be affected with Tuberculosis and shall be permanently marked in the right ear by the Veterinary Surgeon performing the test, with the letter 'T'.
