(3)All such officers or servants as are referred to in sub-section (1) shall be bound -(a)to take all reasonable measures in their power to prevent the commission of such breaches which they may know, or have reason to believe, or about or likely to be committed ; and(b)to assist the Excise Commissioner in carrying out the provisions of this Act.
