22. Prosecution and trial of offence.
(1)No prosecution for any offence punishable under this Act shall be instituted except with the previous sanction of the authorised officer.(2)No Court inferior to that of a salaried Presidency Magistrate or a salaried Magistrate of the first class shall try any offence punishable under this Act.
