Section 9(1) in Bihar Vigilance Investigation Cadre Rules, 2012

(1)There Shall be 43 posts of Deputy Superintendent of Police out which :
(a)24 posts for Vigilance Investigation Bureau shall be filled by deputation, 8 posts by direct recruitment and 1 posts by promotion.
(b)7 posts for Special Vigilance Unit, shall be filled by deputation (deputation of retired police officer from Home (Police) Department/CBI of contract) and 3 posts by direct recruitment.
