Section 24(2) in The Rabindra Bharati Act, 1981

(2)The Dean shall be elected by the members of the Faculty Council and shall act as Vice-Chairman of the Faculty Council:Provided that where there is only one Professor under any Faculty Council, such Professor shall be the Dean for such Faculty Council.
