Section 54 in The Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya Act, 2000
54. Special provision for students.
- Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, every student of North Bengal campus of the former University referred to in sub-section (1) of section 48, who, immediately before the appointed day, was studying in that campus or was eligible for any examination in the former University shall be permitted to complete his course of study or to be admitted to the examination in the University and the University shall make arrangements-(a)for the instruction, teaching, training and holding examination in such manner as may be determined by the Chancellor in accordance with the courses of study in the former University; and(b)for the conferment of the corresponding degree, diploma or other academic distinction of the University upon the qualified students on the results of such examination.
