29. Exemption from appearing for Wiremen Certificate of Competency Examination.
(a)Candidates who have passed an examination of a recognized institution in Wiremen/Electrician trade or its equivalent examination with a minimum Experience of one year in the trade will be exempted from appearing for Wiremen Examination.Provided that such certificate when grated to the employees of any Department of Government or Telangana State Distribution companies, Transmission companies, Generating companies or any Corporation or any Electrical undertakings shall be valid only for the works carried out by concerned department.(b)The age limit for exemption is 18 years and maximum age limit is 60 years.
