(1)A police officer occupying any premises provided by the Commissioner of Police for his residence shall(a)occupy the same subject to such terms and conditions as may, by general or special order, be specified by the Commissioner of Police; and(b)notwithstanding anything contained in any law for the time being in force, vacate the same on his ceasing to be a police officer or whenever the Commissioner of Police or any officer authorised by the Administrator in this behalf considers it, for reasons to be recorded in writing, necessary and expedient to require him to do so.
