Section 79(1) in Tamil Nadu Farmers' Management of Irrigation Systems Election Rules, 2003
(1)If there is only one validly nominated candidate for the office of Chairman, he shall be declared forthwith as having been elected for the office of Chairman in Form-24 and a certificate of election in Form-26 shall be issued to him.
