79. Result of election where there is only one validly nominated candidate.
(1)If there is only one validly nominated candidate for the office of Chairman, he shall be declared forthwith as having been elected for the office of Chairman in Form-24 and a certificate of election in Form-26 shall be issued to him.(2)If more than one validly nominated candidate for the office of Chairman is there, election shall be conducted.Election of Chairman
