13. Seafarer compensation for the ship's loss or foundering.
(1)The ship owner shall ensure that, in every case of loss or foundering of any ship, the ship owner shall pay to each seafarer on board an indemnity against unemployment resulting from such loss or foundering which shall be specified in the collective bargaining agreement.(2)The provision of sub-rule (1) shall be without prejudice to any other rights a seafarer may have under any other law for the time being in force for losses or injuries arising from a ship's loss or foundering.
