Section 27(1) in THE COCHIN UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ACT, 1986
(1)There shall be a Planning Committee with a person deputed by the Syndicate as Chariman to advise the Syndicate and the Academic Concil on any matter, which it considers necessaryfor the fulfilment of the objectives of the University.
