Section 16(1) in The U.P. Board of Revenue Subordinate Audit Service Rules, 1978

(1)Recruitment by promotion to the post of Chief Accountant and Senior Accounts Clerk shall be made on the basis of seniority subject to the rejection of the unfit through a Selection Committee constituted as follows:For the post of Chief Accountant :

(i)	Secretary	...	...	Chairman.
(ii)	Deputy Land ReformsCommissioner (Accounts)	...	...	Member.
(iii)	Another officer of the Board nominated by the Chairman of theBoard.

For the post of Senior Accounts Clerk :

(i)Secretary or his nominee, not below the rank of Deputy Land Reforms Commissioner.

(ii)Two other officer of he Board to be nominated by the Secretary.
