Section 17 in The Gujarat Land Requisition Act, 1948
17. Protection of action taken under Act.
(1)No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against any person for anything in good faith done or intended to be done under this Act or any order made thereunder.(2)Save as otherwise expressly provided under this Act, no suit or other legal proceeding shall lie against the [State] [The word 'State' was substituted for the word 'Provincial' by the Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.] Government for any damage caused or likely to be caused by anything in good faith done or intended to be done under this Act, or any order made thereunder.
