28. Director of Extension Education.
(1)There shall be a Director of Extension Education who shall be a whole time officer technically trained in Horticulture or allied sciences and shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor with the approval of the Board.(2)The Director of Extension Education shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor and shall prepare programmes for assisting farmers and entrepreneurs interested in horticulture in applying results of scientific investigations for the solution of their problems.
