125. Repeal and savings.
(1)The Goa, Daman and Diu Panchayat Regulation, 1962 is hereby repealed.(2)The repeal of the said Regulation shall not affect,(a)the previous operations of the said Regulation or anything duly done or suffered thereunder, or(b)any right, privilege, obligation or liability acquired, accrued or incurred under the said Regulation, or(c)any penalty, forfeiture or punishment incurred, in respect of any offence committed against the said Regulation, or(d)any investigation, legal proceeding or remedy in respect of such right, privilege, obligation, liability, forfeiture or punishment as aforesaid and any such investigation, legal proceeding or remedy may be instituted, continued or enforced and any such penalty, forfeiture or punishment may be imposed as if this Regulation had not been promulgated.THE FIRST SCHEDULE(See sections 20 and 60)The Oath Of OfficeI,............................having been elected as member/Sarpanch/Upa-Sarpanch/President/Vice-President of.. ........................
