Section 45(1) in Tamil Nadu Farmers' Management of Irrigation Systems Election Rules, 2003
(1)The polling station shall be closed by the Presiding Officer at the hour appointed for closing and any elector shall not be admitted into the polling station:Provided that all electors present at the polling station before it is closed shall be allowed to cast their votes.
