(1)There shall be a Library Committee for administering, organising and maintaining the Library of the University consisting of -(i)the Vice-Chancellor - ex officio Chairman;(ii)three Deans of Faculties nominated by the Vice-Chancellor;(iii)three Heads of University Departments nominated by the Vice-Chancellor; .(iv)two Teachers nominated by the Executive Council;(v)the Registrar; and(vi)the Librarian - ex officio Secretary.(2)All members of the Committee, other than ex officio members, shall hold office for a period of three years.(3)The powers and duties of the Committee and the procedure at its meetings shall be as prescribed.
