Section 9(2) in First Statutes of the University of Udaipur
(2)Subject to the provisions of the Act, the Board shall further exercise the following powers and perform the following duties:-(a)of making statutes and of amending or repealing the same subject to the confirmation by the Chancellor who may sanction or disallow the same or may remit it for further consideration;(b)of considering and cancelling regulations;(c)of considering and passing resolutions on the Annual Report, the Annual Accounts and financial estimates;(d)of electing members on other authorities and committees as may be required under the Act and Statutes;(e)to recommend candidates for diplomas, degrees and certificates to be awarded by the University;(f)of considering and passing resolutions on any matter of general policy relating to University education;(g)to enter into, vary, carry out, confirm, and cancel contracts on behalf of the University;(h)to accept donations and bequests on behalf of the University, and(i)of performing such other duties and exercising such other powers as may be conferred or imposed on it by the Act or Statutes.
