Section 35(1) in Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Universities Act, 2008
(1)No teacher, member of non-teaching staff, or student of the University shall,-(a)engage himself in any activity instigating or involving violence or threat of violence, likely to disrupt teaching, study or research in or administration of the University or the proceedings of any of its bodies, or(b)obstruct any teacher or officer of the University in the performance of his duties, or(c)damage or deface any property in the University or in colleges admitted to its privileges, or(d)occupy or use such property, otherwise than in accordance with the rules or other provisions made therefor by the University or other Authority concerned.
