Section 25 in The West Bengal Mining Settlements (Health And Welfare) Act, 1964
25. The Mining Settlement Fund. -
(1)Every mining settlement shall have a fund to be called "the Mining Settlement Fund". Such fund shall be vested in the Board, and there shall be placed to the credit thereof-(a)all sums charged and received by the Board under the provisions of this Act;(b)all sums paid to the Board out of the Consolidated Fund of the State by the State Government and all sums borrowed by the Board under the Local Authorities Loans Act, 1914, for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this Act;(c)all grants received from any local authority, association or private person;(d)all sums realized as expenses, fees, fines, penalties or otherwise under this Act or the rules or by-laws made thereunder;(e)all other sums received by or on behalf of the Board.(2)The custody and the investment of the money to the credit of a Mining Settlement Fund shall be such as may be prescribed.
