Section 255 in The Naval Ceremonial, Conditions Of Service And Miscellaneous Regulations, 1964
255. Liability of Sailors.
(1)All sailors are liable for service in any military, civil or other appointment whether in India or abroad.(2)Sailors are liable to be transferred from one branch to another branch at the discretion of the Chief of the Naval Staff.
