Section 1 in Karnataka Tax on Entry of Goods Act, 1979
1. Short title [extent and commencement] [Substituted by Act 12 of 1981 w.e.f. 1-10-1980].
(1)This Act may be called the [Karnataka Tax on Entry of Goods Act, 1979.] [Substituted by Act 15 of 1992 w.e.f.1-5-1992](2)It extends to the whole of the State of Karnataka.(3)[ It shall come into force on the first day of October, 1980.] [Substituted by Act 12 of 1981 w.e.f. 1-10-1980]
