(a)The Selection Committee for the appointment or promotion to a Professor and an Associate Professor of the Institute shall consist of,-

(i)the Director who shall be the Chairperson of the Selection Committee;

(ii)the Director General, Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh;

(iii)the Dean of the Institute;

(iv)three experts to be nominated by the President;

(v)such other persons as may be prescribed.
