Section 26(5) in Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences Act, 2015
(5)(a)The Selection Committee for the appointment or promotion to a Professor and an Associate Professor of the Institute shall consist of,-(i)the Director who shall be the Chairperson of the Selection Committee;(ii)the Director General, Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh;(iii)the Dean of the Institute;(iv)three experts to be nominated by the President;(v)such other persons as may be prescribed.(b)The Selection Committee for the appointment or promotion to an Assistant Professor and other teachers of the Institute shall consist of,-(i)the Director who shall be the Chairperson of the Selection Committee;(ii)the Director General, Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh;(iii)the Dean of the Institute;(iv)Head of the Department concerned;(v)two experts nominated by the President;(vi)such other persons as may be prescribed.
