44. Under Graduate Board of Studies in Indian System of Medicine. - (1) Under Graduate Board of Studies in Indian System of Medicine shall consist of -
(i)Principal of an affiliated college as per seniority from the date of inception and by rotation shall be the Chairman;(ii)Principal/Director of all the affiliated colleges;(iii)two teachers from each discipline of the affiliated colleges as per seniority from the date of inception by rotation;(iv)one outside expert to be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor from a panel recommended by the Chairman.(2)The Chairman shall nominate any member out of clause (1) as Secretary.(3)Members of the Board of Studies other than ex-officio shall hold the office for a term of two years; provided that if any member ceases to hold the qualification by virtue of which he was appointed to the Faculty, he shall cease to be the member thereof.(4)Two-fifths of the members shall form a quorum.
