(11)(a)the word "improvement" shall have the same meaning as it has in the Improvements Act;(b)"Improvements Act" means the Malabar Compensation for Tenants' Improvements Act, 1899 ([Tamil Nadu] [Substituted for the word 'Madras' by the Tamil Nadu Adaptation of Laws Order, 1969, as amended by the Tamil Nadu Adaptation of Laws (Second Amendment) Order, 1969, which came into force on the 14th January 1969.] Act I of 1900);
