Section 5(2)(i) in U.P. Irrigation Department Research Officers Service Rules, 1992

(i)Twenty-five percent posts by transfer of the substantively appointed Assistant Engineers of Uttar Pradesh Service of Engineers (Irrigation Department of Civil or Mechanical Branch) who shall be governed by the Service Rules applicable to their own services;
