- (i) Mutual seniority of members of the service appointed in any grade before the due date will be regulated in accordance with their mutual seniority as determined before that date.(ii)Mutual seniority of all grades appointed through direct recruitment will be determined only in accordance with the serial number of merit list of Bihar Staff Selection Commission.(iii)Mutual seniority of those persons who have been appointed through promotion will be determined in accordance with the date of their promotion.(iv)Determination of mutual seniority of those Officers/employees who have been appointed by direct recruitment and promotion will be made on the basis of the date they came into service in promotion/appointment grade.
