Section 14(3) in The Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya Act, 2000
(3)Each Faculty Council shall consist of the following members:-(a)the Dean of the Faculty;(b)the Deans of other Faculties;(c)the Director of Research;(d)the Director of Extension Education;(e)the Director of Farms;(f)all Heads of the Departments under the Faculty concerned;(g)two Teachers, of whom at least one in the rank of Professor from each Department under the concerned Faculty recommended by the Departmental Committee by rotation;(h)two Teachers in the rank of Professor of related subjects or sciences from outside the University to be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor in consultation with the Dean of the concerned Faculty.
