Section 7(2) in Andhra Pradesh Regulation of Admissions into Post Graduate Engineering Including Technology/Pharmacy/ Architecture and Planning Courses (through Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering and Common Entrance Test) Rules, 2007
(2)The part of the State Comprising the districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur and Prakasam shall be regarded as the Local Area for the purpose of admission to the Andhra University, Acharya Nagarjuna University and Adikavi Nannaya University and to any other educational institutions (other than State wide University or State wide educational institution) which is subject to the control of the State Government and is situated in that part.
