Section 34(1) in The Alipurduar University Act, 2018
(1)The teachers and other academic staff of the University shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor, on the recommendation of the Selection Committee, and the constitution of the Selection Committee as well as the procedure for holding its meetings shall be in consonance with the Rules framed by the State Government from time to time.
