43. Size of bathroom and latrine.
(1)The area of a bath room shall not be less than 1.50 sq. metres with either side [***] [Omitted 'not less than 1.1 metres and the' by Notification No. S.R.O. No. 26/2014, dated 10.1.2014 (w.e.f. 14.2.2011).] carpet area of a latrine shall not be less than 1.10 sq. metres with one side not less than 1.0 metre:Provided that the area of a combined bathroom and latrine shall not be less than 2.20 sq. metres with one side not less than 1.10 metres.(2)The height of bathroom or latrine shall be not less than 2.20 metres.
