474. Power to declare expenses on certain work to be improvement expenses.
- If the expenses to be recovered have been incurred or are to be incurred in respect of any work mentioned-(a)in section 199, section 200, section 209, section 210, section211, section 218, clause (b) of sub-section 243, section 254, sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 333, section 338, section 343, section 386 or section 471; or(b)in any rule made under this Act in which this section is made applicable to such expenses, the Commissioner may, if he thinks fit and with the approval of the standing committee, declare such expenses to be improvement expenses.
