Section 4(2) in Rajasthan Urban Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2011
(2)Each Town Vending Committee shall consist of -(a)the Chief Municipal Officer, who shall be the Chairperson; and(b)such number of other members as may be prescribed, to be nominated by the State Government, representing the Municipality, the planning authority, traffic police, local police, association of street vendors, market associations, traders associations, resident welfare associations, nationalised banks and such other interests as it deems proper:Provided that the number of members nominated to represent the street vendors shall not be less than forty percent of the total number of members and one-third of such members shall be from amongst women vendors:Provided further the reasonable representation shall also be given to persons who are physically challenged.
