Section 1 in The Assam Enhanced Police Disciplinary Powers Act, 1950
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Assam Enhanced Police Disciplinary Powers Act, 1950.(2)It extends to the whole of Assam and applies to all members of Assam Police Forces and Assam Police Battalion wherever they may be serving.(3)It shall come into force at once.
