Section 19(c) in Development Authority Bye-laws for Conservation of Heritage Sites
(c)Prohibition of advertising signs and outdoor display structures in certain cases - Notwithstanding the provisions of sub-bye-laws of (a) and (b), no advertising sign or outdoor display structure shall be permitted on building of architectural, aesthetic, historical or heritage importance as may be decided by the Authority with previous approval of the Government on the advice of the Heritage Conservation Committee or on Government buildings, save that in the case of Government buildings only advertising signs or outdoor display structures may be permitted if they relate to the activities for the said buildings' own purposes or related programmes.
