Section 1 in The Jammu and Kashmir Sale of Goods Act, 1996 (1939 A.D.)
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Jammu and Kashmir Sale of Goods Act, 1996.(2)It extends to the whole of Jammu and Kashmir State.(3)[ It shall come into force on such date as the Government prescribes.] [Enforced from 1st October, 1939 by Notification No. 5-L/1996.
