Section 14(1) in The Tamil Nadu Building and Construction Workers (Conditions of Employment and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1984
(1)No adult workers shall be required or allowed to work in any establishment for more than nine hours in any day or for more than forty-eight hours in any week.
