37. Presidency at meetings.
- Save as otherwise provided by or under this Act, every meeting of a Gram Panchayat shall be presided over by the Sarpanch, in his absence by the Upa-Sarpanch and in the absence of both Sarpanch and Upa-Sarpanch by a member chosen by the meeting to preside for occasion.
