Section 4(4) in Kerala District Administration Act, 1979
(4)Nothing contained in sub-section (2) or sub-section (3) shall he deemed to prevent any member of the Legislative Assembly from standing for election and becoming a member of the district council and in such case he shall cease to be an ex-officio member of the district council.
