Section 33(1)(a) in Bihar Regional Development Authority Act, 1974

(a)require the offender to show cause in writing and send to the Vice Chairman on or before such date as may be specified in the notice why such street should not be altered to the satisfaction of the Vice-Chairman or, if such alteration be impracticable, why such street should not be demolished; or
